Manufacturing

Our original manufacturing plant was built in 1993 and produces specialised chemical reagents. Our current products are:

• Hydroxylamine nitrate solutions
• Hydrazine mono nitrate solutions
• Gadolinium nitrate solutions

We are the only manufacturer in Europe producing the above items and production is based on our own in-house technology.

We have the capacity to carry out customised Nitrations on request. Products are produced in varying concentrations and packages to customers' specific requirements. Our aim is to be as flexible as possible.

The plant has recently been refurbished and upgraded and a new reactor will be installed in 2008. The improvments will benefit operator safety, improve environmental controls, and improve our safety profile under the CoMAH scheme.

In addition, Lansdowne is the UK market leader in Hydrazine Hydrate and we recently
installed Europe's most modern dilution facility, demonstrating our long term commitment to the business following the recent Seveso II Directive.
